Yellow Rose Farm's Nigerian dwarf dairy goats graze rotationally on seven acres and are provided grain from a local manufacturer (Godfrey's Feed). They provide sustainable practices of the herd and farm. Herd is yearly tested for CAE, Johne's, brucellosis, and tuberculosis. They have maintained Nigerian dwarfs since 1997. They offer half gallons of whole raw goat milk (year-round, they don't dry off the goats), as well as pasteurized cheese. Their Yellow Rose Farm Soap Co. produces cold process goat milk bar soap, liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and dog shampoo. They also produce all-natural insect repellent, deodorant, face cream, and body butter. They offer classes for anyone wanting to have goats, soap making and cheese making.
